Mobile home repair, done right
Plenty of contractors will not touch a mobile home. Jon lists it on his Google profile on purpose: skirting, soft floors, roof leaks, leveling, remodels. Across Columbia, Gilchrist and Alachua counties that is not a niche, it is half the housing on the road.

Mobile home skirting installers who show up
Skirting is the most-searched mobile home job in Florida and the most ignored. Panels crack from mower strikes, blow out in storms, or were never vented right to begin with. Jon replaces and repairs vinyl skirting, sets the ground track straight, and vents it correctly, because bad venting under a mobile home becomes soft floors above it within a couple of summers.
Soft floors and subfloor repair
The floor going spongy near a door, in front of the tub, under the water heater: that is the classic manufactured-home service call. Moisture gets in, the particleboard subfloor gives up. Jon cuts out the bad section, fixes the water source, and decks it with material that can survive here, then lays the finish floor back over it.
Roof leaks, releveling, and the rest
Metal roof seams re-sealed, ceiling stains chased to their real source, doors that stopped closing because the home settled off level, windows, water heaters, fixtures. If it is on a mobile home and does not require a licensed trade, it is on his list. What does require one — tie-downs, anchors, HVAC, re-pipes — he says so and points you right.
Remodeling a mobile home
Kitchens and baths in manufactured homes remodel beautifully when someone knows the quirks: the wall construction, the plumbing runs, the weight limits. Cabinets, counters, tile, trim, paint. See the remodeling page for how he runs those jobs.
